She is not only a great counselor but she cares about everyone around her. She notices when someone is troubled and finds out what she can do to help. Besides her regular counseling job, she also is the girls’ track coach where she is always inspiring us to do our best. For a month before the season even started she would run with anyone who wanted to come and run to help us get into shape early. She wasn’t getting paid for this—she did it because she cares. She is the Kids with Character Teacher and makes you feel like you really count! She organized getting donations and delivering food baskets for needy families at Christmas time. In her TA class we donated money and she took us on her own time after school and we bought gifts and clothing for a family that we adopted. She’s a cancer survivor who came to coach track meets even when she was so sick from treatments that she couldn’t drive herself. To sum her up in a few words… INSPIRATIONAL, COMPASSIONATE, ROLE MODEL, COURAGEOUS, AWESOME, WOW! The world needs more people like Julia Bargman.
