Finding the right teaching job takes much patience and research. There are a number of websites that offer job search and résumé posting resources for educators. At some sites you may need to register before you can look through the postings.

Academic Employment Network
This site allows teachers and administrators at all institutional levels to place ads and connect with one another about job openings. To use this site, jobseekers must purchase a $19.95 three-month subscription.
Council for American Private Education
The Council for American Private Education offers a list of job banks and employment resources in U.S. private and parochial schools.
Education Week
This weekly newspaper focuses on K-12 education and is widely available in education libraries, often carrying advertisements for teacher placement agencies. There is also an online version that allows you to search for jobs.
Education World's Employment Center
Here you’ll find listings of current job openings within the education market and a résumé bank of over 1,000 educator résumés.
